Golf balls dropped from a helicopter Sunday

The Great Ball drop has returned. Numbered golf ballswere dropped by helicopter onto the course at Copake Country Club. Balls landing in designated holes and spots to receive prizes that include thousands of dollars’ worth of gifts ranging from cash, trips, jewelry, art, gift cards, dinners, and more. Cash prizes include $1000, $500 and $250.

The Fourth Annual Ball Drop benefits Camp Sundown, a unique to the world night camp for children who can’t be in daylight. The program runs in July and October each year bringing families with afflicted children together to share support, education, recreation and friendship under the safety of the stars. Camp Sundown has benefited hundreds of families in its 23 year existence and continues to offer this program free of charge to all families because of generous gifts of time, talent, monetary donations and events like this BallDrop.
