What a great invention. A guy in India built a gas powered "tree bike," so he can climb up 100-foot-tall trees. I'm not an engineer by any means, but it looks like pure genius to me. He sits on a seat in a harness with him facing the tree trunk (that had better be a VERY thick harness... just sayin.'). Then he gives it the gas, and this contraption slides up the tree.
Necessity is the mother invention, I guess. This man harvests the "areca nut," a popular crop used in some places for medicinal purposes.
I sure hope he's patented his "Tree Bike," I'd hate to see him lose out on a bunch of money from the coconut industry.
