Body Cam Shows the Instant and Unexpected Threat Police Face At All Times

It is unbelievable that a bystander would intentionally interfere with an unrelated foot chase and try to kill a police officer. Just for the heck of it. What is wrong with people? I can[t even imagine how scary this had to be. Thank God the officer lived and had the body cam footage to show what happened. This is the kind of thing that scares the daylight's out of me. I've always been interested in becoming a detective but I do not want to be an officer that has to deal with this type of thing on a daily basis. My hats off to all the men and women in blue. I can't imagine this being a day at the office.
