ONE PERSON WAS TAKEN TO ALBANY MED

SUNDAY, AFTER A VEHICLE CRASHED INTO A

BUILDING IN LIVINGSTON. FIRE AND RESCUE

CREWS RESPONDED TO 145 COUNTY ROUTE 10

JUST AFTER 3. STATE POLICE INVESTIGATED.

ONE PERSON WAS TAKEN TO BERKSHIRE

MEDICAL CENTER, AFTER THEIR CAR

ROLLED OVER SATURDAY MORNING IN NEW

LEBANON. THE CRASH WAS JUST BEFORE

7:30 ON ROUTE 20 NEAR BRICKYARD ROAD.

CATSKILL FIRE AND AMBULANCE WERE CALLED

TO A ONE CAR ACCIDENT SATURDAY AFTERNOON

ON CAUTERSKILL AVENUE. A 17 YEAR OLD

FROM CAIRO WAS OPERATING THE VEHICLE.

STATE POLICE SAY, HE WAS NOT INJURED.

FOUR FIRE COMPANIES WERE ON THE SCENE

OF A GARAGE FIRE YESTERDAY AFTERNOON

IN EAST CHATHAM. THE CALL CAME IN JUST

BEFORE 2 AT 180 ALBANY TURNPIKE. CHATHAM

RESCUE HAD ONE PERSON REFUSE MEDICAL

TREATMENT. MOST OF THE FIRE WAS IN THE

ATTIC. THE CAUSE IS UNDER INVESTIGATION.

A TRAFFIC STOP ON ROUTE 81 IN COXSACKIE,

HAS LEAD TO CHARGES FOR A WEST COXSACKIE

MAN. 23 YEAR OLD JOSEPH KNOTT WAS CHARGED

BY STATE POLICE WITH CRIMINAL POSSESSION

OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, MARIJUANA

POSSESSION, CRIMINAL POSSESSION OF A

WEAPON, OPERATOR IMPAIRED BY DRUGS,

OBSTRUCTION, AND RESISTING ARREST.

HE WAS RELEASED PENDING A COURT

APPEARANCE.

A RETIRED STATE POLICE INVESTIGATOR

HAS ANNOUNCED HE IS RUNNING FOR GREENE

COUNTY SHERIFF. PETER KUSMINSKY HAS

BEEN IN LAW ENFORCEMENT FOR 33 YEARS.

HE RECENTLY STEPPED DOWN AS SUPERVISOR

FOR THE B C I UNIT AT STATE POLICE

IN CATSKILL. GREENE COUNTY'S CURRENT

SHERIFF, GREG SEELEY IS NOT RUNNING

FOR RE-ELECTION.

VOTERS IN THE CATSKILL CENTRAL SCHOOL

DISTRICT HEAD TO THE POLLS TOMORROW,

TO VOTE ON A 40.8 MILLION DOLLAR

CAPITAL CONSTRUCTION PROJECT. POLLS

WILL BE OPEN FROM 1 TO 9.
