A CAIRO TEEN HAS BEEN CHARGED WITH FELONY

SEXUAL ABUSE, WITH A VICTIM UNDER 11.

STATE POLICE ARRESTED THE 16 YEAR OLD

MONDAY. THE INCIDENT WAS REPORTED IN MAY.

HE WAS GIVEN APPEARANCE TICKETS FOR

COURT.

ALSO CHARGED IN THE CASE WAS 33 YEAR

OLD BILLIE SANFORD OF ROUND TOP. SHE

WAS CHARGED WITH ENDANGERING THE WELFARE

OF A CHILD AND RELEASED PENDING A

COURT APPEARANCE.

TWO TEENS HAVE BEEN CHARGED IN CONNECTION

TO THE SHED FIRE MONDAY MORNING AT THE

KINDERHOF GROUP HOME IN NIVERVILLE. THE

15 YEAR OLD BOY AND 17 YEAR OLD GIRL

WERE BOTH CHARGED WITH BURGLARY AND ARSON.

THE COLUMBIA COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE SAYS

THE TWO ENTERED THE LOCKED STRUCTURE AND

SET FIRE TO MATERIALS IN A CRAWL SPACE.

A NIVERVILLE MAN FACES A LONG LIST

OF CHARGES, AFTER STATE POLICE WERE

CALLED TO HAWLEY ROAD FOR AN ATV

COMPLAINT. 35 YEAR OLD KYLE FLANGER

WAS CHARGED WITH DWI, AGGRAVATED

UNLICENSED OPERATION, ILLEGAL OPERATION

ON A HIGHWAY, NO HELMET, AND DRINKING

ALCOHOL IN A MOTOR VEHICLE ON A

HIGHWAY.

A ROAD RAGE INCIDENT IN CANAAN

ENDED WITH A VERMONT MAN UNDER ARREST.

THE COLUMBIA COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE

SAYS JOSEPH FOLEY ATTEMPTED TO STRIKE

AND FORCE ANOTHER VEHICLE OFF THE

ROAD. THE INCIDENT WAS IN THE AREA OF

ROUTE 22 AND 295.

FIRE AND RESCUE CREWS TO GALLATIN.

THE CRASH WAS REPORTED JUST BEFORE

6 ON SILVERNAILS ROAD.

STATE FOREST RANGERS AND TANNERSVILLE

RESCUE WERE CALLED TO A TRAIL NEAR

KAATERSKILL FALLS, WHEN A 32 YEAR OLD

WOMAN LOST CONSCIOUSNESS WHILE HIKING.

THE TEAM WAS ABLE TO GET THE WOMAN

OUT OF THE WOODS TO A WAITING

AMBULANCE.
