ARREST OF A HUDSON MAN. THE GREENE COUNTY

D.A.'S OFFICE SAYS 31 YEAR OLD MARK

BURNETT IS CHARGED WITH FELONY SALE AND

POSSESSION CHARGES. POLICE RECOVERED A

QUANTITY OF COCAINE. BAIL WAS SET AT

25,000 DOLLARS.

A HUDSON MAN ON PAROLE, WHO POLICE SAY

WAS IN POSSESSION OF TWO HANDGUNS IN 2018,

WAS ARRAIGNED YESTERDAY IN COLUMBIA

COUNTY COURT. 27 YEAR OLD PERRY GILLIARD

WAS ARRAIGNED ON SECOND DEGREE, CRIMINAL

POSSESSION OF A WEAPON. A TRIAL DATE

HAS BEEN SET FOR LATER THIS YEAR.

FIREFIGHTERS WERE CALLED TO A HOME IN

WINDHAM THURSDAY AFTERNOON FOR A REPORTED

STRUCTURE FIRE. SEVERAL COMPANIES RESPONDED

TO 89 SKY HILL ROAD JUST AFTER NOON, AFTER

A WOMAN REPORTED THAT HER ROOF WAS ON

FIRE. NO WORD ON THE EXTENT OF DAMAGE.

GREENE COUNTY RESIDENTS, OPPOSED TO BUILDING

A NEW JAIL, WERE AT THE STATE CAPITOL

THURSDAY. THE GROUP HOPES TO PRESSURE

LAWMAKERS TO PASS A BILL THAT WOULD ALLOW

TWO COUNTIES TO SHARE A JAIL. TIME IS SHORT,

A DOMESTIC INCIDENT IN STOCKPORT ENDED

WITH A HUDSON MAN UNDER ARREST. 37 YEAR

OLD TYRELL BUTLER WAS CHARGED BY STATE

POLICE WITH ASSAULT AND CHILD ENDANGERMENT.

AN INMATE AT COXSACKIE CORRECTIONAL

FACILITY WAS ARRAIGNED ON CHARGES FROM

A FEBRUARY INCIDENT. 25 YEAR OLD IAN

GREEN WAS CHARGED WITH TWO COUNTS OF

POSSESSING DANGEROUS CONTRABAND IN

PRISON, BOTH FELONIES.

EARLTON FIREFIGHTERS WERE CALLED TO

HELP POLICE ON THE SCENE OF AN

ACCIDENT THURSDAY AFTERNOON. THE

CRASH WAS ON COUNTY ROUTE 26 AT

JORDAN ROAD JUST BEFORE 1:30.
