COLUMBIA COUNTY JURY FOUND HIM NOT

GUILTY OF MURDER, IN THE SHOOTING

DEATH OF INDERLY INSTINFIL LAST JUNE.

THROUGHOUT THE TRIAL, THE DEFENSE

INSISTED THE SHOOTING WAS SELF DEFENSE.

FELONY CHARGES HAVE BEEN LODGED AGAINST

THE HUDSON MAN, WHO IS ACCUSED OF

SHOOTING AT ANOTHER MAN TUESDAY ON

STATE STREET. 26 YEAR OLD KEVRON LEE

WAS CHARGED WITH RECKLESS ENDANGERMENT,

CRIMINAL POSSESSION OF A WEAPON,

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF, AND CRIMINAL

POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE.

HUDSON POLICE SAY, THEY FOUND 125

BAGS OF HEROIN IN HIS CAR.

ONE PERSON WAS TAKEN TO COLUMBIA

MEMORIAL, AFTER A TWO CAR ACCIDENT

IN CRARYVILLE WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON.

A VALATIE MAN IS ACCUSED OF

INJURING ANOTHER MAN, BY PUNCHING

HIM IN THE HEAD AT A PRIVATE RESIDENCE.

THE COLUMBIA COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE

CHARGED 59 YEAR OLD ROBERT COONS

WITH ASSAULT.

JEFFREY BARMEN WAS BACK IN COLUMBIA

COUNTY COURT TUESDAY. THIS TIME HE

WAS ARRAIGNED ON CRIMINAL CONTEMPT

CHARGES, FOR ALLEGEDLY VIOLATING

AN ORDER OF PROTECTION, WHILE HE

AND THE VICTIM WERE AT THE COLUMBIA

COUNTY COURTHOUSE IN JANUARY. A

TRIAL IS SCHEDULED FOR NEXT MARCH.

HIS RE-TRIAL ON RAPE CHARGES IS

SCHEDULED TO START IN SIX WEEKS.
