ONE OF TWO CATSKILL RESIDENTS, WHO

WERE CHARGED IN A MARCH DRUG RAID ON MAIN

STREET, PLEAD GUILTY IN GREENE COUNTY

COURT. 29 YEAR OLD BRITANY DERR WAS

CONVICTED OF CRIMINAL SALE OF A CONTROLLED

SUBSTANCE. COCAINE WAS RECOVERED IN THE

RAID. SHE'LL BE SENTENCED THIS SUMMER.

TWO COXSACKIE INMATES ARE FACING NEW

FELONY CHARGES, FROM SEPARATE INCIDENTS

IN MAY. STATE POLICE CHARGED 20 YEAR OLD'S

ERNESTO JIMENEZ-SANTIAGO AND TIMOTHY

FLYTHE WITH POSSESSING PRISON CONTRABAND.

FOLLOWING THEIR ARREST, BOTH WERE RETURNED

TO PRISON.

AN ANCRAM WAN WAS ARRESTED ON A WARRANT,

FROM A THEFT IN COPAKE. THE COLUMBIA

COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE SAYS 25 YEAR OLD

CHAD SCOTT PUSHED A WOMAN AND STOLE CASH

FROM HER. HE HAS A SCHEDULED COURT

APPEARANCE NEXT WEEK.

THE HUDSON POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORTS,

THEY ARE JUST A FEW WEEKS AWAY FROM

USING BODY CAMERAS. THEY ANNOUNCED

YESTERDAY, THE EQUIPMENT HAS ARRIVED.

TRAINING WILL TAKE A FEW WEEKS. HUDSON

WILL BE THE FIRST DEPARTMENT IN THE

AREA TO USE THEM.

VOTERS IN THE TOWN OF GREENPORT WILL

DECIDE THIS NOVEMBER, WHETHER TO MAKE

THEIR SUPERVISOR'S TERM 4 YEARS. RIGHT

NOW IT IS 2. THE TOWN BOARD APPROVED

THE RESOLUTION WEDNESDAY. IF APPROVED,

THE NEW 4 YEAR TERM WILL BEGIN IN

JANUARY 2022.
