A WINDHAM MAN IS IN THE GREENE

COUNTY JAIL, FOLLOWING AN INVESTIGATION

INTO AN OVERDOSE DEATH THAT TOOK

PLACE IN JUNE, IN THE TOWN OF JEWETT.

32 YEAR OLD JOSEPH HEISINGER WAS

CHARGED BY STATE POLICE WITH ATTEMPTED

SALE OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE AND

CONSPIRACY. BAIL WAS SET AT 10,000

DOLLARS.

FIRE AND RESCUE CREWS WERE ON THE SCENE

OF AN ACCIDENT LAST NIGHT ON ROUTE 20 AT

LEBANON VALLEY SPEEDWAY. A LIFENET

HELICOPTER WAS REQUESTED. THE CALL CAME

IN JUST AFTER 9.

MULTIPLE PEOPLE WERE INJURED LATE

THURSDAY MORNING, IN A TWO CAR ACCIDENT

IN WINDHAM. EXTRA AMBULANCES WERE

REQUESTED TO THE SCENE ON ROUTE 23

JUST BEFORE NOON.

A ONE CAR ACCIDENT CLOSED ROUTE 9W

IN ATHENS THURSDAY AFTERNOON. A

CAR STRUCK A UTILITY POLE, THAT

BROUGHT DOWN WIRES AND CAUGHT FIRE.

A 20 YEAR OLD MAN WAS INJURED IN

THE CRASH.

MINOR INJURIES WERE REPORTED AFTER

A TWO CAR ACCIDENT IN CATSKILL

YESTERDAY AFTERNOON. A 39 YEAR OLD

WOMAN AND TWO YEAR OLD BOY WERE

CHECKED OUT BY CATSKILL AMBULANCE ON

WEST BRIDGE STREET JUST AFTER 5.

AN INCIDENT IN THE TOWN OF CATSKILL

HAS A PALENVILLE MAN FACING CHARGES.

27 YEAR OLD CODY EDWARDS WAS

CHARGED BY STATE POLICE WITH ASSAULT,

CRIMINAL TRESPASS, AND CRIMINAL

MISCHIEF.

A MAN WHO REPORTED NEWS ON THIS

STATION FOR 15 YEARS HAS PASSED

AWAY. JACK RACE HAS LOST HIS BATTLE

WITH CANCER THIS WEEK. HE WAS 78.

JACK WAS NEWS DIRECTOR IN THE 70'S
