A MAN DIED SATURDAY AFTER FALLING AT

FAWN'S LEAP IN HAINES FALLS. STATE

POLICE SAY THE VICTIM WAS HANGING

ONTO A ROCK LEDGE, WHEN A PORTION

BROKE OFF. THEY WENT ON TO SAY, HE

WAS A CADET CANDIDATE AT WEST POINT.

THEY ARE WITHHOLDING HIS NAME FOR

34 HOURS, DUE TO DEPARTMENT OF

DEFENSE POLICY.

A SERIOUS ACCIDENT SATURDAY MORNING

IN GREENVILLE. TWO VEHICLES COLLIDED

ON ROUTE 81 AT COUNTY ROUTE 26A JUST

BEFORE 9. A 60 YEAR OLD MAN WAS PINNED

IN THE VEHICLE FOR A PERIOD.

HOSE STILL IN THEIR TANK. THERE WAS

GAS LEAKING FROM THE PUMP. NO WORD ON

IF POLICE FOUND THE DRIVER.

LAST NIGHT, FIRE AND RESCUE CREWS

RESPONDED TO AN ACCIDENT AT 11 JENNIFER

LANE IN ANCRAMDALE. A VEHICLE HAD DRIVEN

INTO A POND AND WAS COMPLETELY SUBMERGED.

ALL OCCUPANTS GOT OUT SAFELY. THE CALL CAME

IN JUST BEFORE 10:30.

A LARCENY INVESTIGATION IN NEW LEBANON

HAS LEAD TO THE ARREST OF A WATERFORD

MAN. STATE POLICE ARRESTED 34 YEAR OLD

CHRISTOPHER OWEN AT JOHNSON TRUCKING.

HE'S BEEN CHARGED WITH FELONY GRAND

LARCENY.

AN ANCRAM MAN WAS CHARGED WITH CRIMINAL

POSSESSION OF A WEAPON OVER THE WEEKEND.

28 YEAR OLD ROBERT STICKLE WAS CHARGED

BY STATE POLICE, AT A CLAVERACK

BUSINESS ON ROUTE 23B. HE WAS GIVEN

APPEARANCE TICKETS FOR COURT.
